Pat Keating

There are few pr practitioners in Ireland who can match the level of experience that Pat brings to our company. Pat has seen it all in his 30 plus years in the business and has a wealth and depth of knowledge in all aspects of communications.

Pat has built his reputation as a specialist in strategic corporate PR, public affairs, issues management and public consultation. In the planning and development field, he has been behind communications for successful projects such as the Blanchardstown Centre and the $2bn Wyeth BioPharma facility at Grange Castle, Co. Dublin.

Pat founded Keating & Associates in 1992 and remains fully involved in client service, providing strategic advice and a wise head to the team when needed.

Joanne Coffey

Joanne has made herself invaluable to a wide range of clients through her dedication to knowing and understanding their business to the point where she is widely considered part of their organisation. Joanne’s clients have been known to say that they feel they are her only client; such is her commitment to them.

Joanne began her pr career London at the start of the dotcom boom, working with the likes of Dell and Microsoft. She maintains a blue-chip client list to this day, although one which has diversified considerably, now including the Wrigley Company and the Commission for Taxi Regulation.

Joanne has been Managing Director of Keating & Associates since 2006 and has over 15 years experience in communications in the UK and Ireland.

Emmet Barrett

Emmet is the man for a crisis. With over 15 years experience in the communications field, Emmet has become our issues and crisis management specialist. Emmet has advised some of Ireland’s best-known companies on issues as diverse as business restructuring and change management to community engagement on environmentally sensitive projects and industrial developments.

Despite his experience, Emmet doesn’t just deal with crises; he also retains a strong interest in corporate, agri-business and financial pr and retains a number of high profile financial services clients including Northern Rock.

Emmet has been a director of Keating & Associates since 2004.

Justin Bowers

Justin’s value to his clients is based on sound decision-making and a calm and rational approach to communications, no matter what the situation. Justin’s assured approach to issues and eye for a news angle has seen him work right across the Keating client portfolio.

Justin currently works with state sector clients including the National Employment Rights Authority and corporate clients such as HSBC Ireland, implementing pr programmes nationwide and across a diverse range of stakeholders.

Justin has worked in pr for over 10 years in the UK and Ireland, joining Keating & Associates as an Account Director in 2004.

Sheena Horgan

Sheena's key strength is her ability to offer clients insightful advice and analysis and effective media campaigns. Her clients also benefit from her proficient writing skills and media nous as a journalist and radio documentary maker.

Sheena is an acknowledged expert on ethical and youth marketing, an area that is both unique and particularly salient for clients today.  Sheena has worked with clients on effective and responsible consumer and staff engagement and is a credited contributor to the UK's Conservative Party's Children's Taskforce and Bailey Review.

Sheena joined Keating & Associates in 2011 and has over 20 years experience delivering brand-led programmes for a broad range of global and indigenous private and public sector clients.
